FAQS

The battery status is displayed every time you sync with the gun. When it’s time to replace the battery, follow the instructions of the Battery Replacement wizard in the application.
Replace the battery according to the following procedure. Disregarding the procedure may result in loss of the accumulated settings of the GSC™.
To start the wizard, select the Replace Battery menu option under Data.
Follow these steps:

  1. Remove the GSC™ from the gun. (Glock)
  2. Connect it to the application using the supplied cable.
  3. Backup the data in the GSC™ (using the application)
  4. Keep GSC™ connected to your device or computer.
  5. Open the 4 screws of the cover of the GSC™.
  6. Remove the old battery:When removing the old battery, verify that the sticker that is attached to the inner side of the battery cover is still in place (and not removed together with the battery). If it is missing, stick a new one in its place. (AR-15)
  7. Insert the new battery in the correct direction (normally, this refers to the side of the battery with the text on it facing up).
  8. Place the cover and close the 4 screws. Do not apply exaggerated force, as the screws are delicate. On the other hand, you must close the product well to achieve perfect sealing.

Once you have finished, disconnect the GSC™ and then reconnect it to the computer or device. Verify that the battery status is OK.

  1. Windows: Listen while connecting the gun to the device. If you hear only the Windows sound while connecting a USB device (by default – two muffled tones) – this may indicate that the USB port has a temporary problem. To verify it – open the Device Manager and look in the Ports branch:
A port with a problem will be designated with a yellow triangle. Rebooting the PC usually solves the problem. Another possibility is that the battery has drained completely. In this case – replace it.
The connecting cables may also be the source of the problem – try to use a different cable.
  2. Android: Verify that your device supports USB Host mode.

First, verify that the firearm magazine has been removed and the chamber is empty.

Hold the GSC™, with the arrow facing forward and place it on a top rail:
Please note! The GSC™ may not record all shots if it is installed on any rail other than the top rail.
The GSC™ must be mounted very tightly on the weapon’s upper rail for it to function properly. For optimal results (above 95% accuracy) the GSC™ should be securely mounted to the forward part of the upper rail.
If you are unable to mount the GSC™ in this optimal position, use the computer application to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the GSC™ until you find an optimal setting which records all rounds fired.
Optimal results will be achieved only if the GSC™ is secured as described above.
Lock the GSC™ to the rail using the Allen key (included in the package)

AR-15. Verify that the GSC™ is installed on the top rail, and that the rail and the GSC™ are firmly locked.
Glock 17 & Clock 19. Verify that the GSC™ does not move freely in the slot behind the magazine well. If it does – place a sticker on the GSC™.
If you still encounter problems, consider loading the Sensitive parameters file, using the application (in the Settings page).

First, verify that the firearm magazine has been removed and the chamber is empty.

Hold the GSC™ with the flat side facing forward and insert it into its slot behind the magazine. Apply enough pressure to insure the GSC™ is securely seated flush in the slot behind the magazine well.

Push the GSC™, using force until the pin extends out of the socket:

When properly installed, it will look like this:

The GSC™ must fit tightly within its slot. If the GSC™ does not fit tightly, or if the GSC™ slides too easily into place without the application of force, attach stickers to act as shims to the flat side of the GSC™ to eliminate any play or free-movement.
For Glock 17, if the GS-Counter does not fit tightly, or if the GSC™ slides too easily into place without the application of force, attach stickers (found in the package) to act as shims to the flat side of the GSC™, to eliminate any play or free-movement.

Unlock the GSC™ from the rail using the Allen key (found in the package).
Once you have finished cleaning the gun, re-install the GSC™, as described in How to Install the GSC™ section.
