Prerequisites

  • Android™ 4 or newer installed on your device.
  • Your device supports USB Host mode (not all devices support this).

Please Note!

This version is not backwards compatible with the GSC™ version and the database of versions before April 2014. You must delete the database before installing the application (as the installation does not write over it). If need to transfer the data in the previous database to the new one, please contact the support.

Prerequisites

  • Run the installation program with Administrator privileges.
  • The PC operating system is Windows™ 7 or newer
  • Framework 4 (Full) or newer is installed. It can be downloaded from Microsoft Download Center site.

Troubleshooting Installation Problems

1. Cannot Write to the Configuration File If the application displays a warning that it cannot write to the configuration file, as depicted in this snapshot:


run GSC_SetACL.exe as administrator to fix it. How to run?

  • Open Windows Explorer and display the directory in which you have installed the application (by default is is C:\Program Files\Secubit-ltd\GSC_P).
  • Right click on GSC_SetACL.exe and choose Run as administrator,  you may need to confirm this.

2. Missing USB Driver The USB driver is installed by the application installer, so you usually do not need to separately install it. If for any reason you need to install the USB driver, select the appropriate installer:

  1. Download USB driver for 64 bit
  2. Download USB driver for 32 bit

3. A Warning is displayed after Re-Installing If the install application displays a warning after re-installing the program, such as this:

Advanced Tuning Data Retriever

The Advanced Tuning Data Retriever application is used for retrieving the necessary data for tuning the GSC™ to new guns that are not in Secubit’s database. It can also be used for improving the GSC™ accuracy when needed.

  • The definition of burst has been slightly changed – it is now all the consecutive shots that are less than a 100 milliseconds (previously it was less than or equal to a 100 milliseconds).
